Elemental is an Arcona 435, built by Arcona Yachts of Sweden. This type of yacht is usually described as a "performance cruiser." In simple terms, that means that it's a "Cruiser-Racer" Mix: Think of it as a boat that's really fast and fun to sail (the "performance" or "racer" part) but is also comfortable and well-equipped for longer holidays (the "cruiser" part). It’s designed to do both very well, which is a difficult balance to strike but which Arcona seem to have pulled off really well.
It's a sizable yacht, around 43 feet (just over 13 metres) long. Its beam (width) is just over 13 feet (4 metres) and it has a displacement of around 8.9 tons. It has a fixed fin keel with a bulb and a draft of 2.3 metres. The top of the mast stands about 69 feet (
21 metres) above the waterline.

Built for Sailing:
It's lightweight for its size, often using materials like carbon fibre in the structure and has a special steel "skeleton" inside to make it very stiff and strong. This combination is key to its great speed and sta
ble, responsive feeling when you're steering.
It has a deep keel (the heavy fin underneath the boat) which helps it stay upright and slice through the water efficiently.
It has a modern, efficient sail plan that makes it quick and relatively easy to handle.

Interior Comfort:
Down below, there's a high-quality, classic Scandinavian-style interior—lots of warm wood, a spacious living area (saloon), a full kitchen (galley), three cabins (sleeping areas) and two bathrooms.
Exterior:
The cockpit (the main seating area on deck) is large and features twin steering wheels, which is a modern, performance-oriented design that also makes it easier to move around.

In short: The Arcona 435 is a beautiful, well-built Swedish sailing yacht that you can race competitively and use as a comfortable fast cruiser.
