YMCT Leg 2 - Kinsale to Fowey

Sadly this, the second leg of the 2026 Yachting Monthly Celtic Triangle race from Kinsale to Fowey, ended up being the final leg in this year's event. As we arrived in Kinsale it became apparent that a huge storm with dangerous wind and wave conditions was developing in the Atlantic. Consequently the organisers quite rightly cancelled the leg that was scheduled to go from Kinsale in Ireland to Treguier in France because of storm conditions at sea.
The video below shows the minutes before the revised start and the first few hours of the leg. Dark and conditions in the second half of the leg put paid to filming. Nevertheless, enjoy the action ........
